Problem Statement : burnout may strongly impact human well-being aspects, in which a person experience feeling of stress, exhaustion, and dissatisfaction and reduces productivity.
During COVID 19, nurses in Saudi Arabian were on the front line of caring for sick, critically ill and dying patients, making them strained physically and emotionally. Therefore, addressing nurses' burnout and identifying strategies to decrease this phenomenon.
This study aimed to address the nurses' burnout in Saudi Arabia and assessed the effect of the COVID 19 outbreak on increased stress and burnout among this group.
Study Hypothesis : compared to usual practice, COVID 19 outbreak increased nursing stress and burnout in Saudi Arabia.
Methodology : the study aimed to address the nurses' burnout in Saudi Arabia and assessed the effect of the COVID 19 outbreak on increased stress and burnout among this group.
The methodology followed in conducting the study is presented under technical, operational, administrative, and statistical designs.
Research Question : did the COVID 19 outbreak increase nursing stress and burnout in Saudi Arabia compare to usual practice ?.
Study Purpose : the purpose of this study was to :
•Examine the prevalence of stress and burnout among nurses in Saudi Arabia in response to the COVID 19 pandemic.
•Assess increased incidence of stress and burnout among nurses during COVID 19 Pandemics
•Identify the factors associated with increased burnout among nurses in Saudi Arabia during COVID 19 pandemic.
