استهدفت الدراسة الحالية تقويم كتاب الدراسات الاجتماعية للصف الثالث متوسط من وجهة نظر معلمي الاجتماعيات بمحافظة حفر الباطن، واستخدمت الدراسة المنهج الوصفي، وتكونت عينة البحث من (45) من معلمي الاجتماعيات بمحافظة حفر الباطن، استخدم الباحث الاستبانة كأداة للدراسة.
وتوصلت محاور استبانة الدراسة إلى النتائج التالية :
في الترتيب الأول : محتوى الكتاب والذي جاء بمتوسط حسابي مرجح قدره 4.14.
في الترتيب الثاني : مقدمة الكتاب والتقويم والذين جاءوا بنفس قيم المتوسط والذي بلغ 4.09.
في الترتيب الثالث : الأنشطة والتدريبات جاء بمتوسط حسابي مرجح قدره 4.08.
في الترتيب الرابع : أهداف الكتاب جاء بمتوسط حسابي مرجح قدره 4.06.
كما أظهرت نتائج الدراسة عدم وجود فروق دالة إحصائيا بين أفراد الدراسة تعزى لمتغير سنوات الخبرة.
وأوصت الدراسة لمجموعة من التوصيات منها :
1-ضرورة احتواء الكتاب على أسئلة وأنشطة تنمي مهارات التفكير الناقد لدى المعلم والطلاب.
2-يجب تنقية محتوى الكتاب من التكرار والحشو الممل في بعض الدروس.
3-يجب أن توفر الأنشطة والتدريبات في الكتاب التغذية الراجعة المناسبة، بهدف رفع مستوى التحصيل العلمي عند الطلاب

The aimed of the current study is to evaluate the social studies book for the third intermediate grade from the point of view of social teachers in Hafr Al-Batin Governorate. The following results:
In the first place : the content of the book, which came with a weighted average of 4.14
In the second place: the introduction to the book and the calendar, which came with the same average values, which amounted to 4.09
In the third place: activities and exercises came with a weighted mean of 4.08
In the fourth rank : the objectives of the book came with a weighted average of 4.06.
The results of the study also showed that there were no statistically significant differences between the study members due to the variable years of experience, and the study recommended a set of recommendations, including:
1-The book should contain questions and activities that develop critical thinking skills for the teacher and students.
2-The content of the book must be purified from repetition and boring fillers in some lessons.
3-The activities and exercises in the book should provide appropriate feedback, with the aim of raising the level of educational attainment among students.
